What Are the next steps?

Taking the next step involves the experience of engagement with a reflective listener such as myself— sharing about your life experiences while using cognitive, behavioral and interpersonal therapies to explore that which is most meaningful to you.

Cognitive therapy helps one to examine how our feelings are affected by what we believe and this would include the concept of social thinking and relating to others.  Cognitive Behavioral Therapy can be especially important in assisting individuals recovering from the complications of disordered eating patterns.   Behavioral therapy can be helpful with children and teens having difficulty with impulse control and inattentiveness. Adults also benefit from understanding how changing their behavior can lead to changes in how they are feeling. Interpersonal therapy supports a person in the areas of relationship skills and communicating with others.   Counseling is a collaborative effort to set and reach goals that are important to you.
